Overview
TimeTrail is a security workforce management platform built for firms that need tighter control over scheduling, reporting, tracking, and field coordination. It features hourly check calls, geotagged QR scans, intelligent geofencing, live GPS tracking, WhatsApp staff contact, and a web command center for real-time situational awareness.
The problem
Security companies needed more than a basic roster tool. Guards had to verify presence on schedule through check calls and QR scans, supervisors needed live tracking and instant alerts when check-ins were missed, and managers needed modern web pages for analytics and rapid scheduling.
Challenge
Connecting field reliability features like hourly QR scans and geofence compliance with a redesigned web experience, while integrating multiple backend APIs across analytics, sites, and scheduling without breaking live operations.
Solution
Built the React Native field app and web command center as one platform. Guards verify presence with QR scans, geo-fencing, selfie checks, incident reports, and inventory uploads. Managers get live scheduling, analytics, and operations from the web. Firebase push notifications, biometric authentication, and Sentry logging keep the system reliable in the field.
